WattMath is run by a small team, and every message comes to a real person. The most useful kinds of feedback we receive are listed below — the form on this page reaches the same inbox as the email address.
What we respond to fastest
- Data corrections — if your local electricity rate, gas price, or state incentive value looks wrong, tell us your ZIP and what you expected. These get priority review because they affect every visitor in that area.
- Calculator suggestions — missing inputs, edge cases your situation exposed, or questions a result didn't answer. Real homeowner scenarios are how the tools improve.
- Methodology questions — if a formula or assumption isn't clear from the methodology page, ask and we'll add to it. We'd rather over-explain than have a result that looks wrong.
- Partnership and press inquiries — affiliate programs, data partnerships, or interview requests. Mention "Partnership" or "Press" in the subject line.
What we can't help with
- Tax advice. WattMath surfaces federal and state tax credit information from public sources, but we are not tax professionals. For your specific situation, consult a CPA or enrolled agent.
- Installer or contractor recommendations. We don't refer to specific solar installers, HVAC contractors, or electricians. The affiliate disclosure page lists which partners we work with for quote requests.
- Personal financial planning. Whether a $30,000 solar install fits your household budget is a question for a financial advisor, not a calculator.
